It’s getting old and unnecessary because there’s more important things to worry about.

IMHO only weak-minded journalists with little or no originality can ascribe “moods” to time periods.

Muted.

At least in my neck of the woods. It’s like everyone’s in a holding pattern.

I think because of the World situation right now it is a bit on edge. As far as music and celebs same old same old.

2010 Mood….it felt “tired” to me. Same with the music and celebs.

like Nero playing his fiddle, or fiddling with himself, whilst Rome incinerated.

I would agree with “tired”—nothing really exciting or interesting.. just a lot of the same. Ex: Lady Gaga. I get it. You’re weird.

Depends on where you look and whos doing the looking, local individuals tell local stories

for me, Rejuvinating
for strangers I see, half of them seem just as tired and depressed as ever, the other half seem rejuvinated and happy

its like all the things that cant be sustained are breaking down, and if youre trying to hold on to that, youre breaking down. and if you are in touch with other people and feel good with them, then theres nothing to break down about.

I think the overall mood of the people in Ameria is as follows:

1. Our economy is foremost on peoples minds. wondering what is next and what the Federal Government is planning next to boost America’s sagging financial situation.
2. Music. who knows? i believe remakes of older songs will be the forerunner in tomorrows music.
3. Leadership. America is desperate for a new leader. that office is very weak, today.
4. Travel. America and the world needs a new form of transportation. people are not willing to give up on the comustion engine in automobiles, so a new sythetic type of fuel is needed to supply the world with a generic-form of gasoline.
5. Health. American people are always going to be sick. a government-run health program is not the answer. something new needs to come down the highway that all people can accept.
6. Celebities. people are always going to need someone they can associate a better or good time with. this is where celebrities come into play. not much stability in being a celebrity, but the need is still there.
7. World peace. the wars are gaining strength and out of control, just like the Bible has predicted. is the end soon? we will just have to wait and see. we have no other choice.

Better than 2009, fairly happy, sometimes not so good. Political wars as always.
