Suggestions on where to stay in Fort Myers, Fl.

Can you recommend a place to stay in Fort Myers, FL—NOT Fort Myers Beach? I am visiting my grandparent who lives near Fort Myers Shores off of Palm Beach Blvd. I am only finding cheap motels and Comfort Inns when I search online. I would like to be no farther than 20 min. from my grandparent’s house, but I would like to stay somewhere that has a little charm (bed and breakfast, boutique hotel, vacation condo…). Please help me with your local knowledge!

What about the Hotel Indigo? It looks like it would be conveniently located.

Another recommendation to check out is the Homewood Suites depending how many people you are traveling with and how long of a stay.

The Hibiscus House is right on McGregor, which is just a block or so away from the Caloosahatchee bridge in North Ft. Myers and right off of 41.
