On my Mac, how do I move the icons on the top bar around?

Asked by rexpresso (922points) October 8th, 2010

Because some of the icons are hidden under the menus of some applications, I would like to move those that I most use to the right. I know there’s a way… can’t remember. Thanks

You can command-drag the system icons such as Time Machine, Clock, etc, around or off .but that doesn’t work on the 3rd party ones. You’d have to go into the preferences of those specific apps and see what you can do.
