What are the compatabilities between Guitar Hero and Rock Band?

I have Guitar Hero World Tour for the Wii, the complete band set, and was wondering if Rock Band games will work with my Guitar Hero instruments. For instance: could I play Beatles Rock Band with my Guitar Hero drums, guitar, and mic? Or are Rock Band game only compatable with one or two of the instruments?

If so, does it work well? Are there any issues?

@erichw1504 Not sure, I don’t have rock band. Ask at your local games store. Sorry felt like I overlooked the original ? Very rude of me.

I own both. You can’t use any Rock Band peripherals with Guitar hero, but you can use everything Guitar Hero with Rock Band. It’s cause Red Octane sucks.

The guitars work perfectly, I often use my black Les Paul in Rock Band. The drums, not so much, because they have different layouts. You can play, but it’s kinda hard.
