Any ideas for this space outside my bedroom door?

I have a basement bedroom. Our basement is kind of…messy. My room is just like a normal 14-year-old girl’s room, but the rest is really messy and pretty much used for storage. (If you saw it you’d think we’re crazy packrat people.) Outside my room is my dad’s wood shop. It’s bare concrete on the floor and there’s sawdust everywhere. There’s a space about 3 feet by 4 feet right outside my door that I just found out get to do whatever I want with. I’ve decided what I’m doing for the floor (I’ve always known I need something on the ground covering that bare concrete), but I need some ideas for the walls there! This is a small space, so it can’t be anything too big. I was thinking some squares of chalkboard paint would be cool. Any ideas?
