What's your opinion about the lurve system?

I must be grouchy today, so I’m warning you in advance about my opinion. Sometimes I feel very irritated with the lurve system. It drives me crazy when answers I think are dumb (or whatever offensively judgmental descriptor pops into my head) earn one or more points. Sometimes I think people give lurve to the popular jellies just because they breathed anything, even if it’s not a good answer to the question. Sometimes I get bent so out of shape when certain people get lurve when I feel they don’t deserve it.
I know, this sounds terribly horrible and not lurving at all. I know it makes me sound like I’m jealous and judgmental. Like I said, I’m grouchy. So, =P
How do you feel about how we lurve on each other around here?
