I judge people's actions, but does that make me a jerk?

Some say that I see things in black and white, write or wrong, and it’s sort of true, but I do understand the gray areas (the circumstances). So if someone wrongs me in some way without explanation, I’m done with them.

It’s trickier when it comes to friends and relationships. They have more leeway, but I recently find that I’m cutting people out of my life. I don’t want that, but I find it difficult to care less about someone, to lower my expectations, or to simply not give a fuck.

If I forgive them, won’t it make me dismissive, passive, and it’ll just happen again and again. Or if I don’t let go and forgive, does that make me a jerk?
