Are there any legitimate sites that stream live TV?

My roommate and I are trying to find some form of Internet TV that we can get streaming to our apartment. We’ve tried setting up rabbit ears with a converter box and it turns out our apartment doesn’t get any television reception. We don’t want to get cable or Direct TV because we honestly don’t watch that much TV and would only use it, like, one night a week. Hulu is great, but it’s a day late and doesn’t have one of the shows we follow.
Are there any Internet TV services that stream live TV to your computer?
