If Obama caves in to the right, might he be challenged on the left?

The Democrats are now talking about raising the retirement age and about cuts in Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. There is no mention of rescinding the tax break for the most wealthy. This is not what I had in mind when Obama spoke about hope and change. If he follows these things, I am not voting for him again. I am sure there are others who would also be upset. Do you think someone might challenge him in the Democratic primary or run as an independent. I would like to see Russ Feingold running.
