Have you had any success selling your books online?

I’m moving to Europe this spring and working on slimming down my possessions. I have a lot of books. I mean, a lot of books. At some point, someone should have sat me down and explained the library system. But in any event, I’d like to see them go to a good home. When I moved to Oregon 4 years ago, I took several boxes of books to a used book store and they gave me maybe $20 for many hundreds of dollars worth of reading.

So I’d like to figure out the best way to sell some books. I have a wide variety of pop-biology, pop physics and NY Times best-seller types, as well as several years worth of books from my Booker Prize finalist book club.

Have you tried to sell books online through Amazon or AbeBooks? Or anywhere else? Also, if you happen to be in Oregon and want a good deal on some books, hit me up.
