What did you think of your TSA pat down?

I have asked a couple of questions on this topic already. I am not really obsessed. It just seems like an interesting contemporary story.
Anyway, true to my word, last weekend I refused the scanner and took the pat down.
Just to see for myself what the fuss is about.
Truth is, it was no big deal ( no double-entendre intended there).
Naturally, the guy put his hands up my thigh and planted the side of his palm firmly in my crotch. But it did not hurt, he did not grab me viciously nor did he caress me lovingly.
Just your basic pat down.

Now, I understand the problem about the Fourth Amendment. I really do not think the government is allowed to search you unless you give them a reason to think that they should.
That is not my question.

Plus, I know full well that they are probably doing the pat down in order to gradually break us down and condition us to obediently take the scanner.
I am not asking that either.

My question is, if you got patted down, was the process really a problem?
If yes, why?
