Unruly step grand kids?

I have step grand children ages 3–8. They are destructive and have no manners and break or almost break things when they come over. Their home is a disaster. Their parents do not correct them when they come over. We have a nice home. I was told kids will be kids. I am the only one who corrects them therefore I am the bad person.
