Is it cold enough to wear a small trench coat in Los Angeles this time of year?

I think it’s going to be about 50’s or 60’s when I visit. I live in Ohio and it’s been 20 degrees here so when I go there it’ll be like it’s warm! Haha!

I plan on bringing a trench coat like this

But I don’t know if it’s necessary? It’d be a hassle to bring a coat on the plane with all my stuff.
