I just pulled out some of the hair on my eyebrows, can you help?

Okay, so my eyebrows are not completely gone, rather I have holes were there is no hair. Just today I pulled out quite a bit of hair closest to the eye.

I think I might be a little OCD or have some kind of nervous habits. My new year’s resolution was to stop picking blemishes on my face, but I think I may have turned to pulling Out my eyebrows! Like I said I managed to stop myself before going completely overboard, but my eyebrows still look pretty messed up. Usually what happens is I may pluck a single hair on one eyebrow that looks out of place, then I pluck one on the other side to make it even. When I do this I might accidentally pull out one more hair on one side than the other. I feel obliged to go back and pull out the same amount of hair on both sides to make it even, and before you know it my eyebrows look horrible.

This might sound pathetic, or be a little more that what you were expecting to get yourself into. Yet I feel I don’t really have anyone to talk to about it because it’s embarrassing. So I would just like to know: How long does it typically take for eyebrows to grow back? What can help to grow them back?(I herd brushing them with a toothbrush helps) Are there any techniques that can help me to stop this, such as breathing techniques? And, most importantly, can I cause permanent damage by doing this?

Any help, information, or advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!
