Has anyone here ever written an admissions essay for a creative writing MFA program?

I’m not asking for anyone here to write it for me.
I would like to hear from those that have experiences in this matter, and what the whole process was like to them. Anything that you feel would make a positive contribution is welcome.

I am going to personally hand in my writing sample and admissions essay to the secretary of a program that I am applying to this week. I have written an essay, which begins with some instances which inspired in me a love for writing and books. This then goes into some life experiences that have led me to go to back to school at 30, some accounts of my experiences with professors that have led me to choose this path, and why I am pursuing an MFA at this specific program. I think this covers the basics, because they do not list what they are looking for.

I would just like to know how the whole grad school process has affected those Flutherites who have been through it. I appreciate the fact that you have read this so far and I appreciate your time. Thank you.
