Which version of Death At A Funeral is better?

This film, working from the same script, has been done twice: Once in 2007 (the british version), and once in 2010 (the American).
One has a stuffy, upper-class British family, the other a Southern Californian black family.
The critics are split on which version is better. I haven’t seen either, but just saw a couple minutes of the most recent one, and I thought what I saw was very funny.
Have you seen both? Which did you prefer?
