Pregnancy Symptoms, Irregular Period, NuvaRing?

I have been on the NuvaRing for almost a year now. My period is very regular, almost to the hour. My schedule is the first 3 weeks of the month in, the last week out and my in/out day is Thursday. When I remove my ring I start on Saturday in the morning. Last month I started on Sunday and instead of my heavier 4 day period, I had a lighter 2 day period. When I replaced my ring on Thursday, husband and I had unprotected sex (meaning no condom) that evening. On Saturday of that same week I spotted for 3 days (this NEVER happened before, as I said the NuvaRing had kept me VERY regular.) This would have been ½2 I started spotting and the 24th I stopped. Now I have every pregnancy symptom there is (this would be my second pregnancy, and I have the EXACT same symptoms as last time) but when I took at home tests, one tested positive and two were negative. I should remove my ring on Thursday, but I end up taking it out yesterday in fear of side effects to the baby if I am pregnant. I don’t know what to do or where to turn next… help!
