How do I access the auxiliary audio input on my 2006 Jeep Liberty?

I went ahead and followed some folks’ advice from this previous question I asked and bought an ipod adapter that hooks up to the auxiliary input as opposed to working as a transmitter.

I know my Jeep has an auxiliary audio input somewhere behind the radio because my manual says there’s one. .

Problem is, I don’t know how to access it. My manual doesn’t say, and I’ve tried searching all the Jeep forums, but all anyone seems to say is “hurr durr, there’s not one,” or “derp herp, just buy a fm transmitter.” Not very helpful.

Can any of you lovely folks help?
