Tips on getting rid of sharp headache centered specifically around my foramen magnum that throbs with my heartbeat and the movement of my head?

I have this kind of headache every time I don’t take my pills on time. Anyone have any particularly helpful tips?
Ice packs? Heating pads? Hanging upsidown?
