Is it okay that he liked me first?

The guy that I’m currently seeing you could say has been sort of a mutual friend for a long time but, recently it’s turned into more. A while ago I started hearing that he liked me and turns out he’s kind of smitten.. I didn’t really think anything of it at first but then one night the inevitable drunk hook-up happened & that sparked everything. I really do like him now but I feel bad that this whole thing started from me being wasted. He’s an amazing guy and would give me the world. Should I not feel guilty?
