What happens when looking at the sun with 3D glasses?

So, I have this basic red/blue 3D glasses, the cheap one. And it says that you should not look in the sun with it. What will I see and what will happen with my eyes if I do so? (Please dont test it out, there must be a reason why you aren’t allowed)
