What could this lump be?

I have a hard lump, which I just now discovered, on my neck just behind my jawbone. It is somewhat tender, and does not move with the skin when I rub it gently. My first guess would be swollen lymph node what do you think?

I AM about to make a doctor’s appointment.

Some things that may have caused or affected this;
-I’ve been stretching the piercings in my ears, and I did mess up that ear and have to go down a size recently.
– there’s black mold in my room.
-I have allergies to pets and dust and pollen.
-I have had cysts on my chest in the past. It kind of feels like one.

any thoughts?
