The aspiration abortion. Can someone give me a step by step idea of what goes on?

I’m really just wondering, my friend is going to get one and shes wants to know exactly what goes on. We are both panicing, she doesnt do well with pain. We currently are going to do it with planned parenthood and she just wants to know if there are shots in the uterus or anywhere else or if they have to dialate, and does that hurt?
