Hey SEO's & Web Guys... Is this a good price for SEO?

Asked by gambitking (4206points) April 6th, 2011

Hi everyone, I’m just wondering if there’s any SEO pros out there who could advise on whether this is a good deal:

My site has no pagerank, its really not optimized, and all of the stats on it SEO-wise are very low. It’s a new site, so that’s okay but it needs SEO.

That being said, the following work is for my site is being quoted at a price of $1100, with a 30% discount… so $800 is the actual cost. Here’s what comes with that price:

Website overhaul, re-coding (fixing errors and syntax), Title tags, meta tags, Headline tags, proper SEF copy writing, keyword density and inter-linking structure. A lot of the ‘text’ on my site is actually images, so those have to be changed into actual text too. Then alt/title tags added to all my images, plus a site-map and all the standard on-site SEO (all this for about 7 or 8 pages on my site). Also some coding in PHP to keep titles and analytics code in a single header file on the site. Then I also get submission to search engines and 5 good backlinks for the start of some off-site SEO. Oh, and three hours of on-site training and support.

I was even told if I felt skeptical I could get a free month of SEO maintenance after the first project.

Is that a good deal for $800 total?
