Do we really have a type, or do we base it on the person we are in love with at that time?

Men for instance, some say that they like tall women with big boobs. However the woman they may be with might only be tall, but with a smaller frame. So is it true, do we really have a type? I understand there may be traits in some people we find attractive, but they don’t always fit into what we class as “my type”.
