Why is time passing so fast? It's frustrating!

I’m in the second year of highschool. It’s like I was 8th grade a week ago. And it was, two years ago. So many things happened in between, good and bad, yet, it all seems like nothing.

I remember when I was, 12/13 and thinking – ’‘18? That’s so far away!’’ I’m turning 18 next year. The second half of 2010 and the few months of 2011 have passed so quickly! It’s depressing! I hate it!

It’s like, a day goes by so fast, because I, like many, many others, am in a daily routine. Get up, do this, do that, sleep. Rinse, repeat. In two years, I will be going to college.

Seems like a lot now, but, looking at how quickly the past two years flew by, I’m afraid the next two will be the same. Things like this trigger questions in my mind like ’‘what’s the point of all this?’’; ’‘what’s the point of life’’ and so on.

How do you deal with this? I know I’m not the only one with this ’‘problem’’.
