Have you been victim to "peasant mentality" (details)

Have you ever dismissed doing/having something because you’ve assumed it was beyond your means and then later learned you could in fact have it?

It drives me nuts that I have to where I’ve now made myself a damned bucket list, making myself investigate all the things to see which are in fact feasible.

Example 1
I’m in my 40’s now and have always wanted to take a cruise but thought it impossible. Imagine my shock when I looked on the magical internet to discover I could take a cruise and enjoy excursions for the same $ spent on plane tickets, rental cars, motel/hotels, restaurants, blah-blah I’ve done on other home based trips. Argh!

Example 2
A relative of mine never looked into retiring before 70yrs old but recently discovered he could retire this year and the offset of what his income will be in relation to what working fulltime yields is negligible. He’s so excited.

What will you make yourself get working on?
