What should I buy for a teen?

This girl I know is one of my relatives and she has her birthday in the coming month, but I am little confused to buy anything for her as she is very choosy and don’t have love for so many things. She is a sweet and a calm girl. Do you think a pair of diamond ear ring would work or something else….any suggestions?
