How do you cope with really long days?

Asked by Mamradpivo (9665points) May 19th, 2011

I recently moved to Northern Europe from the US. In Oregon, the sun would typically be down by around 9:00 PM in summertime. Here in the Netherlands, it’s 10:00 and still light enough out to drive without headlights.

Have you (or do you) ever lived in a place with such long days? How did it affect your body and your daily routine?

Personally, I’m struggling. I find it hard to have dinner until 9:00 or so and I can’t go to bed until after it’s dark, which means I’m up later than I should be to get enough sleep before work.
