Do you usually see the cynical side of something, even when it’s not there? Is your humour of choice ironic? Do you prefer sarcasm over straight-laced answers, and do you think you’re witty. Does witty = clever?
Are we becoming more cynical as the world becomes more enmeshed in wars and corruption, when every other person is struggling with something; money, a failed relationship, death or loss, war or a combination of them?
Is the age of innocence over and done with, or is this a temporary situation?
Perhaps I see it wrong, or different from you. Elaborate?
