It's only the 2nd anniversary of his death: Where are all the Michael Jackson tributes?

I have five music channels and not a single one of them is running any kind of tribute for our dearly departed Michael Jackson. Both MTV’s, both VH1’s and Fuse are not playing anything MJ-related today. Not the E! network either. Not even one video or retrospective!

Is the nature of the world and media today such that we can forget about someone so influential in less than 2 years? Doesn’t he deserve to be honored for this contributions to music and dance?

BTW, this thread is not the place to bash MJ, nor to discuss his alleged transgressions, deviancy or scandals. If you’re not a MJ fan, that’s cool; just don’t make this the place to let us know that.
