Is there a name for this language phenomenon?

Ok my friend and I were doing some auto body work today. Those of you who’ve worked with fiberglass know how toxic it is, like sniffing glue, and by the end of the day we were feeling pretty loopy with our caulk guns in hand.

And sooo… our caulking duel turned into calling each other names…

Caulk-asaurus…
Caulk-zilla…
Caulk-atollah…
Caulk-miester…

You get the idea.

Is there a name for this, turning a verb into an abstract noun?

Care to share any examples?
________
