Does it pain your heart when people make fallacious statement in public?

Even as educated and open-minded people we often hear that some people like to make fallacious statement in public, and they usually interpret reality with something else as they wish and state it as truth.
The example would be when I saw a reality news that said all the houses in a town were destroyed by tsunami except mosques because the God protect them, while in fact it was because all houses except mosques were small and made from wood material.
The other popular example would be (very popular in Ramadhan) when one get or lost a mate they will never state that it’s their doing but rather it’s all God’s will and has been decided by God Himself (also in reality news).
Will it irritates you when people abuse reality and science, and proclaim it as ultimate truth in public?
