Who are some awesome and hilarious female comedians?

I’m trying to find more female comedians, especially ones whose material doesn’t usually fall into what I like to call the Lady Comedian Trap. The Lady Comedian Trap is where all the material is about Lady Issues – tampons, pms, pubic hair fads, how much sex sucks (but not too much), pressure to make babies, and fashion trends that don’t make any sense. Don’t get me wrong, I love that material and often crack up at women doing those bits, I just hate that it seems like the only way to be a female comedians is to be a Lady Comedian; it’s much harder to find “regular” comedy in which the comedian just so happens to be a woman. So, help?

But if all you have is Lady Comedians, I’ll totally take those, too, because it’s still hilarious.
