Parents- have you gotten teary-eyed or cried when dropping your child off for the first day of kindergarten?

I did with my oldest and I did it again this morning with my little one. Just got misty-eyed and didn’t let my daughter see; I didn’t want her to think something was wrong…

She’s been my tiny little girl for so long and now she’s a big girl, going to school! What made it even worse was that when I turned on my radio in the car, the station was playing “Butterfly Kisses” dangit!

I wouldn’t have it any other way, of course, but it’s still bittersweet to watch your children growing up so quickly, don’t you think?
