Is my laptop fan about to give out on me?

I’ve had an HP DV7 Entertainment laptop for about two years now, and I’ve never really had a problem with it.

It’s been running really hot recently, so I bought some air duster and dusted out the fan vents and a nice little puff of dust came out. It started running cooler after that, but every so often, usually right after I boot it up, the fan will make a rapid clicking noise, and it sometimes makes a whirring noise as well.

Does this mean it’s about to crap out on me?
