Do you know your blood type?

I find so many people that do not know their blood type. Do you think it is important information to know? I am A+ and think I found out when I first registered to give blood with The American Red Cross. They sent me a card with this info on it. Do they still do that? What type are you? Do you know? And if you don’t, does it bother you that you don’t?
