How would you recast Gilligan's Island?

I was humming the Theme form Gilligan’s Island today. And I started thinking about the casting. “The Professor” looked more like a tennis pro than a science professor. By today’s standards, Ginger was pretty plain and incredibly prudish. I’m not sure I’d have the Howells come from old money – new money is just so much more offensive.

That got me to thinking, who would I cast if I were to remake the TV show? I’m having trouble coming up with answers I like. How about you?
