Coffee talk: do I really want the $160 KitchenAid Pro Line burr grinder?

As someone who does French press, drip, and stovetop espresso on various occasions, a perceived need for this device has embedded itself in my brain. Based on what I’ve read, it’s one of a couple three consumer grade burr grinders that’s worth anything.
So… what do you know about coffee and by what percent will this luxury item improve my life or at least my coffee drinking experience. I’d like to have my mind settled, so I can quit obsessing about it and just buy it now or later or not at all.
This would be an upgrade from a $20 blade grinder.
