Who has a great, non-marinara, meatball sauce recipe?

This Christmas it’s just going to be me, @jonsblond, and the three little blondes. When this happens we dispense with the customary Christmas dinner and opt for a home made buffet of different finger foods and appetizers that we can munch on all day whenever the mood strikes us. This frees up very important football/toys/video game time for everyone.

@jonsblond makes some very kick ass meatballs and this year I am in charge of finding an alternate to the traditional marinara sauce we normally have with them. I am leaning toward a traditional sweet and sour sauce full of fresh ginger and garlic but would love to have a couple of more offerings for the table. Anyone?
