How do you handle salespeople who literally follow you around the whole store?

I once had a salesgirl follow me everywhere in the store, chatting and telling me which outfits she thought would look good on me. I realize she was just doing her job, but I thought that was a bit over the top.
Do you just tell them to leave you alone or do you just leave the store without a word?
