Has anyone here tried apple cider vinegar to clear up acne or skin breakouts ?

Has anyone here tried drinking apple cider vinegar to clear up acne? I heard you can either drink it (like a shot daily in the morning), or put it directly on the skin. Supposedly it clears up acne and breakouts.
