One week in Aruba- suggestions for restaurants or activities?

We will be going to Aruba in a few weeks, staying in a timeshare in Noord. I am interested in any suggestions for restaurants, activities or just general tips.
We are experienced timeshare vacationers, so I plan on bringing cereal, crackers, nuts, protein bars, so we can spend money to enjoy some great restaurants for dinner. I am a member of a great travel community so I have seen a lot of restaurant reviews and am interested in the input from this community. Also, one travel book (I have 2) suggested bringing our own alcohol in our checked luggage? Found that curious, then again we’re not heavy drinkers.
