Why would my heart doctor be impressed with this?

I have a heart condition described as a cardiomyopathy. On my most recent visit while I was being examined the doctor was listening to my lungs and had me press down as though I was making a bowel movement, he did this twice when he finished he told the other physician Wow 3 bm’s or rpm’s something like that and seemed really impressed. He then said if her echo is as good as this sounds she’ll be ok. What was he listening to? Any idea?
