Why does my kitten have these super hyper moments?

My kitten, Skittles, tends to have these moments where she’s all hyped up. She keeps running around clawing at everything, and biting everything—In a playful manner. Is she just playing or what? It’s a little weird because she’s running around super fast. She also jumps from the slightest movement. I’m just curious, not worried. :)
