Has anyone had a dog that has been cured of a small hair adenoma?

My dog had been diagnosed by the vet. Now its up to us to have it removed. I did some research online and several articles have said that it can sometimes go away by itself.
Has anyone tried any home remedies that have worked? The stange thing is that he has none of the symptoms mentioned in any of the medical sites. He doesn’t try to lick or scratch it. It doesn’t have pus nor is it painful or like an ulcer. Its just red and smooth and round and small. It’s right under his tail on the edge of his anus.
