Detox for vicodin prescription?

Anyone go through detox for vicodin? I have been on it for two years and its really gotten to the point where its not helping the pain, but I tried to quit and I got very shaky, clammy, constantly vomited, diarrhea, couldn’t keep any food down. I’m not a junkie, I can’t believe this happened to me. So I have to keep taking the pills on the days i dont work just so I don’t get sick. I tried calling rosecrantz and since i pick at myself they cannot accept me, that I have to go to mental health facility first to stop picking and pulling my hair, which I have been doing for 20 years. Any suggestions what I should do and how painful and hard is detox? I am scared to death of being sick again.
