What all can (and should) I feed my new goat kids?

Asked by Anatelostaxus (1428points) May 8th, 2012

A list of what’s available for (all) the animals:

Salt
corn
dry bread
pasture grass and weeds
dandelion
weeds, weeds, weeds
vegetable oil
vegetable peels and scraps
kitchen scraps in general (already booked by poultry, etc..)

They new kids are two months and two and a half months old. French Alpine breed. Just been waned, but still looking for the thumbs that pass across their little snouts.
First night: fresh water, crushed dry bread and semi-dry grass, plenty of it all.
Should I for instance add salt to their food?
All knowledge welcome.
cheers mates
