How to recover and stop my toolbar from disappearing?

Yesterday I accidentally pressed some keys on my computer and my toolbar on the bottom of each computer just disappeared. When I do not have Google Chrome open then it shows but the moment GC is up, it completely disappears. In Safari though it works but its like Safari is zoomed in or something so the page is a little too big and if I need to click on something that is at the very bottom of the page I cannot do it because then the toolbar is distracting.

Its so uncomfortable having this problem because I basically cant function without the toolbar. BTW I have tried auto hiding and not doing so but still it does not work.
