I'm in Boulder/Denver the next few days. What to do?

My wife’s been offered a job in Denver and I’m here for a few days meeting with business folk to explore possible job opportunities for me. What else should I do to fall in love with this place? I’ll be spending time in Boulder which is nice but on Saturday I’ll have time to drive around. Should I head into the mountains? What will be most impressive to see/do?
